CEOMC

Chief Executive Officers of Management Companies, or CEOMC of Florida, lobbies in Tallahassee to advocate for the interests of community associations and the management profession. Established in 2008, the company has grown into a statewide effort comprised of several top management firms throughout Florida. CEOMC acts as a source of information on legislation concerning community management and associations.

CONA

Council of Neighborhood Associations, or CONA, maintains the fluency of information between Pasco County Civic, Condo, Homeowner Associations and special districts in order to promote harmony and education. The council was founded in 1985 by a group of area residents who desired to improve neighborhood conditions. The coalition invited 65 subdivisions to attend an initial meeting, during which the entire bylaws were written and the name CONA was established. In 1987, the organization was incorporated. Today, CONA acts in favor of these groups before state and local government.

FLA

The Florida Legislative Alliance, or FLA, speaks on behalf of community associations and community association managers before Florida legislators and regulators. CAI FLA members are balanced with appointed officials selected from chapters throughout the state. Each branch is partnered with all chapters within its state and is part of a larger national office. Recently, the alliance has influenced rulings that would directly affect board and association operations. By reviewing all house and senate bills concerning the Florida Condominium Act, the Florida Property Owners Association Act, and the Florida Cooperative Act, CAI FLA is able to provide alerts to all members encouraging them to act swiftly by contacting house and senate members.
